Berklee Musicians Bring Soul To Our Studio

You’d never know hearing Berklee musicians Jaime Woods and Nick Hakim that both began their formal music training much later than many of their peers.

Jaime grew up on the south side of Chicago and joined a gospel choir at the age of 15 to stay out of trouble.

Nick grew up in Washington, D.C. in a household where you could always hear the sound of a guitar and Latin American folk songs, but he didn’t pick up a guitar himself until his first year at Berklee.

They’re performing on July 19 as part of the ICA’s Harborwalk Sounds.
