ZIP-Code Stories: An Apple, A Pick-Up Truck And ‘Mask’

ZIP-Code Stories is Radio Boston’s collaboration with The Drum literary magazine, in which we ask you to write a story that captures an essence of your neighborhood in 500 words or less.

In this round, your story must include the following three things: an apple, a pick-up truck and the word “mask” — and “mask” may be used as a noun or as a verb.┬áBut remember, your story must be firmly grounded in your ZIP code or neighborhood.

The deadline for submitting your story is Oct. 31. More information and complete submission guidelines can be found here.
