With Valentine’s Day upon us, perhaps you’re thinking of buying something sweet for your sweetheart?

McCrea’s in Hyde Park makes slow-cooked, handcrafted caramels, in unique flavors such as black lava sea salt, dark roasted mocha and ginger fusion.

Radio Boston’s Anthony Brooks toured the small-batch candy factory — and sampled the goods of course — in his quest to find out about one couple’s leap of faith to pursue their dream of going into the candy making business.
